AN
ACT CONCERNING THE STATE'S PURCHASE OF GROUP HOMES.
Be it
enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly
convened:
That chapter
319b of the general statutes be amended to provide that when the state
purchases any group home, including, but not limited to, a group home operated
by the Department of Developmental Services, the Department of Mental Health
and Addiction Services or the Department of Children and Families, the state
shall not be required to pay a purchase price that is above the median home
price in the geographic area.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit state costs incurred in purchasing group homes.
